My Gift To You

I'm finding blogs very useful. Seriously, anything I need to know I usually find on a blog. With cute pictures and TMI to go along with it. What kind of a bloggette would I be if I didn't pass on some useful information once in a while. And I don't mean "How to Escape a Squirrel" or "How to Get the Entire Neighborhood to Hate You With One Phone Call to the HOA" type of information. I mean information that could Change. Your. Life.

I LOVE Olive Garden. I think I've gone there to eat for every birthday starting at eight up till 21. Chicken Alfredo. Breadsticks. And that Salad! YUM. Unfortunately Olive Gardens in Texas leave something more to be desired when it comes to service, cleanliness, and food quality and so we've stopped going. Every once in a while though, I get that mouthwatering taste for that heavenly salad!

Without further ado, I give you-

OLIVE GARDEN SALAD KNOCKOFF RECIPE THAT REALLY TASTES EXACTLY LIKE THE NAMEBRAND, GIRLSCOUTS HONOR:

    * 1/2 C. Mayonnaise
    * 1/3 C. White Vinegar
    * 1 tsp. Vegetable Oil
    * 2 Tbsp. Corn Syrup (I use a little less for more tangy-ness)
    * 2 Tbsp. Parmesan Cheese
    * 2 Tbsp. Romano Cheese (I use 4 Tbsp. of DiGiorno shredded Three Cheese Blend)
    * 1 Garlic clove minced
    * 1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning (Or some oregano flakes and some basil flakes)
    * 1/2 tsp. Parsley Flakes
    * 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice (I use 1/2 lemon)

Wisk vigorously with a whisk in a medium bowl. Refrigerate for a little while. Serve on a salad of your choice but whatever you do, don't forget the sliced red onions and the croutons. Seriously. Don't.

We like to eat it with some crispy bread dipped in olive oil or balsamic vinegar.

Try it. I would not let you down.
